Plan and fair use

Spotlit is free while we build it. A free account gets everything that is built today: scans, every source, all recommendations and weekly tracking. No card, no paid plans yet.

Scans
Up to 20 a month. Weekly re-scans count toward it.
Resets
On the 1st of each month. The meter shows the date.
Fixes and brands
Also shown on the meter. Their limits are set high while we build.
Not counted
Site checks, AI search predictions and the free tools at /tools.

Why a limit at all? Every question in a scan runs a live web search, and that is our one real cost. See Pricing.

Common questions

Will Spotlit always be free?

Paid plans are planned for later. Today there are none, and nothing is charged.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. Sign-up and sign-in support Google as well as email and password.

Does a failed scan count?

A scan counts once it is saved. If a scan fails before it finishes, it isn't saved.
