What you'll get from this page

  • See which sites shape the answers in your category.
  • Find the gaps worth getting listed on, highest score first.
  • Know how to get onto each kind of site.

Why sources matter

AI answers repeat what the pages they read say. If the pages behind an answer don't mention you, the answer is unlikely to either. Sources shows those pages, so you know where to show up.

The sources table

Three tabs: Sites, Pages and Gaps. Filter by Your site, Mention you, Competitor sites or Gaps, or search. Expand a site to see its pages and the prompts that used them. Export downloads the current tab as a CSV file.

Each row carries a tag: Your site, Competitor, Mentions you or Gap. A gap is a cited site that isn't yours or a rival's and doesn't mention you yet.

What moved

What moved compares the latest scan with the one before. Tabs: Most cited, New, Gaining, Steady, Slipping and Dropped. It needs at least two scans of the brand.

Common questions

Is a citation the same as a link to my site?

No. A citation means the answer used that page as a source. It doesn't mean anyone clicked it, and the page may not link to you.

How do you know if a page mentions me?

We check the text the search returned for that page for your brand name. A page that mentions you only in an image or deep in a long page can be missed.

Is there a row limit?

No. You see every cited site and page.
